With use of FP, its recommended to use the lowest octane petrol you can get without knocking(pinging) issues. Often times, even below the min recommended RON for your car too. Furthermore, usual comments is use of FP with RON 95 petrol feels like premium grade of petrol being utilised.

To treat 40 lit of petrol, 2 Oz of FP is required. With FP at retail price of S$39, this works out to be $2.43 per dosage. The ability to downgrade your petrol one step, from Premium to 98 or 98 to 95, use of FP already gives you savings. Plus your car is being kept clean and running more efficient. Oh, did I mention the potential to clock more mileage as well if driving pattern is unchanged.

When downgrading from 95 to 92, considering a car averagely is able to clock 12 Km/L, you need to clock an additional 4 Km and FP pays for itself.

All this on top of a cleaner and more efficient engine. With FP, expect lower level of fuel soot, oxidation and nitration rates, less insolubles and less fuel dilution should that occurs, it does its job of keeping the engine in good health especially when in use with LC.
